     Virginia Sarah Ellen Claybrook "Tudy" Busch, 85, of Edina, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009, at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.

    Tudy was born May 25, 1923, in Green Castle, Missouri, the daughter of Mike Mitchell  and Novea Mae Stoneking Claybrook.

    She moved around with her parents from Green Castle, Hurdland and then Edina, Missouri but lived most of her adult life in Knox County.

    On May 15, 1941, in Memphis, Missouri, Virginia married Otha Allen "O.A." Busch.

    They raised hogs and cattle on the farm at the south edge of Edina and also  had a produce business that supplied Hy-Vee and IGA Stores with apples, watermelons, cantaloupe and peaches from southern Missouri for many years.

    Tudy attended the Assembly of God Church in Edina, Missouri, where the Lord meant everything. She was dedicated to her husband and family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

    Tudy is survived by two sons, Dean and his wife Sharon Busch of Quincy, Illinois and Jody and his wife Brenda Busch of Kirksville, Missouri; a daughter, Sonjia and her husband Delmar Strange of Edina, Missouri; a brother, Dallie Claybrook and his friend Imogene Becker of Kirksville, Missouri; three sisters-in-law, Valee Claybrook of Kirksville, Missouri, Alice Claybrook of Kirksville, Missouri and Peggy Claybrook of Connellsville, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Cassie and Courtney Busch of Quincy, Illinois, Allen Busch and his fiance Tiffany Jones of Kirksville, Missouri, Amanda Busch and her fiance E.Z. Sevits of Kirksville, Missouri, Racheal and her husband Brandon Clark of Kirksville, Missouri, Angela and her husband Russell Hall of Edina, Missouri, Chrissy and her husband Brian McCartney of Columbia, Missouri and Jeff Strange of Edina, Missouri; ten great grandchildren, Raistlyn Sevits, Blake, Braxton, Bailey, and Brenley Clark, Abby, Caitlee and Noah Hall, Mary McCartney and Riley Strange; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

    Tudy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, O.A. Busch on January 30, 2004; six brothers and two sisters.

    Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.

    Visitation will be after 12:00 noon on Wednesday until service time at the funeral home in Edina, Missouri.

    Burial will be in the Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville, Missouri.

    Reverend Ray Peters will officiate and Pastor Robert Stephens will assist. Casket Bearers will be Jeff Strange, Russell Hall, Brian McCartney, Allen Busch, Brandon Clark and E.Z. Sevits with Honorary Bearer Jevin Brugess.

    An expression of sympathy in memory of Tudy Busch may be left to the Assembly of God Church in Edina, Missouri. A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Doss Funeral Home 208 N. 4th Street, Edina, Missouri 63537.
