    Franklin "Tyler" Lonberger, 20, of Edina, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009, in an automobile accident near Edina, Missouri.

    Tyler was born on July 9, 1988, in Perry, Georgia, the son of Samuel L. and Tina K. McCabe Lonberger.

   At the age of 6 months he moved with his family  to Edina, Missouri, attended the Knox County Schools graduating in the Class of 2006, and had just this week started classes with Moberly Area Community College. Tyler was an Atlanta Falcons fan, enjoyed music, but mostly he loved to spend time with his closest friends  and his dog "Zo".

    Tyler is survived by his mother, Tina Lonberger and her friend Tom Barbour of Edina, Missouri; a brother, Tristan Lonberger of Edina, Missouri; grandparents, David McCabe of Knox City, Missouri, and Frank and his wife Dorothy Lonberger of Kirksville, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Dayna McCabe of Edina, Missouri, Joe and his wife Carson McCabe of Farmington, Minnesota, Todd and his wife Maria McCabe of Kansas City, Missouri, Tom and his wife LeAnn McCabe of Edina, Missouri, Danny and his wife Gemma Lonberger of Kirksville, Missouri and Treda and her husband Mike Moyer of Springfield, Missouri; several cousins including Austin Griffitt and Kayleigh Stefl of Edina, Missouri, Madison and Leighton McCabe of Edina, Missouri and Kathryn and William McCabe  of Kansas City, Missouri; and numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

    Tyler was preceded in death by his father, Sam Lonberger on December of 2001 and his grandmother, Kay McCabe in 1995.

    Funeral services will be Monday, January 19, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edina Assembly of God Church in Edina, Missouri.

    Visitation will be after 12 noon, Sunday, January 18, 2009, with the family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.

    Burial will be in the Mt. Salem Cemetery, west of Newark, Missouri.

    Pastor Robert Stephens will officiate and Casket Bearers will be Tom West, Nick Valdez, Dusty Stephens, Travis Hettinger, Brent Holdren, Chris Goodwin, Shawn KcKenzie, and Tim Allensworth.

    An expression of sympathy in memory of Tyler Lonberger may be left to the Donor's Choice. A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Doss Funeral Home 208 N. 4th Street, Edina, Missouri 63537.
