Donna Jean Farris, 40, of Edina, Missouri, passed away, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
Donna was born on November 7, 1974, in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of John Eugene and Noreen Connie Dagenhart Farris.
She attended the Edina Elementary and graduated from the Knox County High School in the Class of 1994. She continued her education at the Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, Missouri.
Before Donna’s health failed she worked for a time at Casey’s General Store and worked in daycare.
She was good at accounting and paperwork helping her parents and others. She enjoyed reading, watching television, painting and taking care of kids.
Donna is survived by her parents, Gene and Noreen Farris of Edina, Missouri; her dog, Lola Mae; two brothers, Kevin and his wife Nancy Farris of Lexington, South Carolina and Douglas Farris of Edina, Missouri; a sister, Karen and her husband Mike Cook of Gloucester, Virginia; a dear friends-sisters, Teri Mason and Staci Melton of Edina, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Megan Nicole Farris, Myia Paige Farris, Ethan James Churchill, Stephen Michael Cook Schrage, and McKinsey Ann Noreen Cook; step-nieces and nephews, Audrey and her husband Madison McCarty and Vincent Bernier; a great nephew, Conner Goodwin; numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
At her request she was cremated and there will be a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.
