    Kathleen Virginia Rudicil, 88, of Ozark, Missouri formerly of the Colony area, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the Ozark Nursing and Care Center in Ozark, Missouri.

    Kathleen was born on April 28, 1928, near Colony, Missouri, the daughter of Hiram Roosevelt and Frances Irene Dailing Rudicil.

    She was raised in the Colony, Missouri area and worked at the Glove Factory in Edina, Missouri before moving to Ft. Madison, Iowa and worked at the Schaeffer Pen Company until her retirement. Kathleen moved to Ozark, Missouri in 2003, to be near her sister, after they moved back to Missouri.

    She enjoyed sewing, embroidery work, playing bingo and while in Ft. Madison she volunteered at the Food Pantry.

    Kathleen is survived by two sisters, Norma and Bob Gash of St. Charles, Missouri and Darlene and Bob Wyrick of Ozark, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Rudicil of Edina, Missouri; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram and Irene Rudicil; a brother, George Raymond Rudicil on January 16, 2016; and a sister, Carrie Ruth Rudicil in infancy.

    A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Colony Cemetery in Colony, Missouri, with the family receiving friends.

    Pastor Larry Smith will officiate at the graveside and Casket Bearers will be family and friends.

    An expression of sympathy in memory of Kathleen Rudicil may be left to the Hospice Compassus of Springfield, Missouri.  A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Doss Funeral Home 208 N. 4th Street, Edina, Missouri 63537.
