    Richard Evan Hollinger, 44, of Columbia passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at his home.

    Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at The Crossing, 3615 Southland Drive with service following at 5 p.m.

    Rich was born July 16, 1968, in Elkton, Md., to Joyce Baker Hollinger and Edward Hollinger. He married the love of his life, Amie Lynn Hayes on April 6, 1990, in Columbia. He graduated from Hickman High School in 1986.

    Rich worked for UPS for 16 years and worked as a contractor and, most recently, worked as a product manager for Manor Roofing and Restoration.

    Rich was always happy and full of life. His smile lit up any room. He was always willing to help others and valued his wife and girls and his friends.

    Rich is survived by his wife, Amie; daughters, Alexis and Anna, of Columbia; parents, Edward Hollinger of Florida, and Joyce and Byron Ollendike of Columbia; two brothers, Ronald (Lauren) Hollinger of Alexandria, Va. and Robert (Leigh) Hollinger of Columbia; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Faye Hayes; brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Kim Grant, Brett and Gena Patton, Joe and Laura Hayes, Justin and Kati Grant, all of Columbia, and Brad and Staci Henks of Lee's Summit; 19 nieces and nephews; and three great-nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his son, Evan Hayes Hollinger; and grandparents.
