Ryan Fountain, 29 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday evening December 21, 2011 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

    On June 30, 1982 he was born in Jefferson City, Missouri to Roger and Rita (Goepferich) Fountain.

    On May 25, 2010 he was married in Cancun, Mexico to Brandy (Sash) Fountain.
    Those who survive, His Wife, Brandy Fountain of Eldon, MO; his Parents, Roger and Rita Fountain of Eldon, MO; his Sister & Brother in law, Camillia & Steve Naught of Eldon, MO; his Grandparents, Eva Fountain of Eldon, MO; & Zelda Gilbert of Edina, Missouri; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
    His Brother, Troy Fountain and two Grandfathers’, Walter Fountain & Don Goepferich preceded Ryan in death.
    Ryan graduated from Eldon High School in 2001 in the top 10% of his class. He volunteered and was a member of the alumni for Eldon FFA. He attended University of Missouri studying Agricultural Economics and graduated Cum Laude in 2005. At present, Ryan was serving as Alderman for the city of Eldon. He adored his wife, family and friends deeply. He loved his cattle and spending time on the farm. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He lived by the motto, “Work hard, play hard.” He will always be loved and missed by his family, friends and community.

    Visitation will be on Tuesday December 27, 2011 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Eldon High School Gym, with the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM with Todd Shockley officiating. Interment will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.
    Memorials are suggested to the Eldon FFA Chapter.
