Nancy Ahern Klocke, age 97, of Edina, Missouri died Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Northeast Regional Medical Center, Kirksville.

    Nancy was born at Pleavna, Missouri on April 25, 1915 to Tivy and Constance (Smith) Ahern.

    She married Ralph Klocke on May 14, 1938 and he preceded her in death in 1984.     

    Nancy was a homemaker and had owned and operated a flower shop in Edina for many years. She was a member of the Bee Ridge United Methodist Church and an Edina resident for many years after moving from the farm in the Bee Ridge community in 1978.

    She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Delaney and husband Bill, Edina; six grandchildren, DeeNita Whiteley and Pat, St. Louis; Barry Delaney and Connie, Jefferson City; David Delaney and Kristi, Marceline; Bob Delaney and Marie, Kirksville; Rick Delaney and Lesa, Edina; and Michael Delaney, Kansas City, MO; eleven great grandchildren, Jacob and Danielle Whiteley, Lauren, Matthew, Eric, Jason, Patrick and Ashley Delaney, Kiley Herriman, Brad Hunt, and Christina Hudson, and seven great-great grandchildren, Karyn, Jillian, Deakan, and Kenna Delaney, Isobele and Lorelei Hudson, and Zaden Hunt.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph and son Marion Klocke.

    Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 20, 2012 at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina with Fr. Mike Penn officiating.

    Burial will be in the Bee Ridge Cemetery, Edina. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until time of services at the funeral home.

    Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Barry, David, Bob, Rick, and Michael Delaney, and Pat Whiteley.

    Memorials may be made to Bee Ridge Cemetery and these may be left at or mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
