       Jason Michael Ogden, 35, of Edina, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 22, 2008, at his residence north of Edina, Missouri.

    Jason was born on December 10, 1972, the son of Terry Ogden and Ruth Heater.

    He was raised in Des Moines, Iowa before moving to Sherman, Minnesota, where he graduated from the Martin County West High School in the class of 1991.

   Jason met Elizabeth Ann Klocke at a bible study class he was hosting in his apartment, while both were attending the American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa, and they were united in marriage on May 23, 1998 in Edina, Missouri.

    He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Edina, Missouri and was licensed to the ministry earlier this year.  Jason served his country in the United States Navy from 1992-1995 before working with Wells-Fargo in Des Moines, Iowa.

    Jason enjoyed playing video games and watching his favorite football teams and he loved the time spent with family especially his wife and children.

    He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ogden of Edina, Missouri; four children, Elliott, Patrick, Cayanna, and Terry Ogden all of the home; his parents, Terry Ogden of Des Moines, Iowa and Ruth Heater of Vandalia, Missouri; a brother, Shawn and his wife Sarah Ogden of Fairmont, Minnesota; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenn and his wife Shirley Klocke of Edina, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Rob and his wife Michelle Klocke of Hawarden, Iowa; two sisters-in-law, JoAnna and her husband John Peck of Kirksville, Missouri and Amy and her husband Don Goodman of St. Charles, Missouri; along with Elizabeth's grandmother, Blanche Klocke of Edina, Missouri; and several nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

    Funeral services will be Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Edina, Missouri.

    Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2008, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.

    Burial with Full Military Honors will be at the Colony Cemetery in Colony, Missouri. Honors will be provided by the Knox County American Legion and VFW Posts of Edina Missouri.

    An expression of sympathy may be left to the Children's Education Fund. A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Doss Funeral Home 208 N. 4th Street, Edina, Missouri 63537.
