    Judith Ann “Judy” Klocke, 68, of Colony, Missouri died Monday, September 17, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

    Judy was born on August 3, 1944, in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Shelton Donald and Marjorie Helen Killen Wilson.

    She attended school at Knox City, Missouri, where she graduated from Knox City High School in the Class of 1962.

    On March 7, 1962, in Knox City, Missouri, Judy married Eldon Kenward Klocke. Following their marriage, they relocated to Lawton, Oklahoma while Eldon was a member of the United States Army.  Following Eldon’s discharge from the Army, they relocated to rural Edina, Missouri.  In 1973, they moved to Colony, Missouri to make their home. 

    Judy was a member of the Colony Baptist Church, where she was the song leader and a Sunday school teacher, the Colony Order of Eastern Star, and was a member of the Knox County Nursing Home Board for several years.  She also was a member of the New Era Club, served as a leader for both the Liberty Leaders and Colony 4-H Clubs and a member of the Golden Eagles Motorcyle Club for several years.

    Judy enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

    Judy is survived by her husband Eldon Klocke of Colony, Missouri; three daughters, Karla and her husband David Sanders of Kirksville, Missouri, Rhonda and her husband John Bruce of Overland Park, Kansas, and Connie and her husband Dave Epperson of Fulton, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Brennan and Kirsten Sanders of Kirksville, Missouri, Nikki and Courtney Bruce of Overland Park, Kansas, and Brittney, Taylor and Kaitlyn Epperson of Fulton, Missouri; one sister Mary Lynn and James Laney of Columbia, Missouri; two brothers Doug Wilson and his wife Alma of Knox City, Missouri, and Mike Wilson and his wife Linda of Knox City, Missouri; her brother-in-law Glen Klocke and his wife Shirley of Edina, Missouri; her sister-in-law Anita and her husband John Miller of Knox City, Missouri; her mother-in-law Blanche Klocke of Edina, Missouri; along with a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

    Judy was preceded in death by her son Brian Klocke; by her parents Shelton and Marjorie Wilson; by her brother Donnie Wilson; sister-in-law, Velma Wilson and her father-in-law Paul Klocke.

    Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.

    Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

    Burial will be in the Colony Cemetery in Colony, Missouri.

    Pastor Steve Jarvis will officiate and Chris Combs will assist. Casket Bearers will be John Paul Miller, Eric Miller, Robert Klocke, James Wilson, Brennan Sanders, David Sanders, John Bruce, Dave Epperson and Kelly Miller. Honorary Bearers will be Martin Guinn, Norman Primm, Bobby Pape, Allen See, Bill Brown, Shawn Wilson, Jeff Mutchler, Dave Osborne, Jon Peck and Don Goodman.

    An expression of sympathy in memory of Judy Klocke may be made to the Knox County Nutrition Site, American Diabetes, or the Donor’s Choice. A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Doss Funeral Home 208 N. 4th Street, Edina, Missouri 63537.
