   Ramona Lee Corbin Roberts Fender, 52, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 12, 2009 at her residence.

   Ramona was born in Newark, Missouri, On January 16, 1957, the daughter of Carl Monroe Corbin and Myrtle Anderson.

   She was raised in the Newark Community. She attended grade school at Novelty, Missouri before graduating from Knox County High School.

   In 1976, Ramona married Danny Roberts and to this union two children, Shane Colby and Angela, were born. They resided in Texas for a few years before returning to the Knox County area. Then in 1995 she married Tim Fender of Kirksville, Missouri where she resided until her death.

   Ramona was a homemaker her entire life with a love of fishing, hunting arrowheads, and camping.

   She is survived by a son, Shane Colby Roberts of Jefferson City, Missouri, and a daughter, Angela and her husband Rusty Knowles of Lavonia, Missouri; four grandchildren; Colby Roberts, Jr. of Kirksville, Missouri, and Hailey, Ashlinn, and Brandon Knowles of Livonia, Missouri. Nine brothers and sisters including Carl Jr. and his wife Peggy Corbin of LaGrange, Missouri and Judy of Hannibal, Missouri and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

   Ramona was preceded in death by her Step-father, Robert "Bob" Roush of Knox City, Missouri and a half-brother, Donnie Crim of Edina, Missouri.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Rehoboth Baptist Church in Kirksville, Missouri, with Doss Funeral Home assisting.
