    Carmelita Lucille Kaser died March 31, 2013 at her home in Moberly. She was born March 2, 1921 in Edina, Missouri to Lee and Lena Lanham Corbin.

    She married Leroy Kaser September 4, 1940 in Edina. She and her husband lived in and around the Greensburg, Baring, and Edina, Mo area.

     In 1957 they moved to South Houston, Texas where they lived until 1963 when they moved back to the Greensburg area. In 1972 they moved to Timpson, Texas for 27 years and moved to Moberly, MO in 1999 when her husband became ill.
    Mrs. Kaser is survived by four children and one stepdaughter: Harold Stanley Kaser (Linda) of Pasadena, Texas; Phyllis Jean Self (Ron) of Moberly, Missouri; Jerry Leroy Kaser (Kathy) of Bethel, Missouri; Patricia Rose Lancaster of Tulsa, Oklahoma and stepdaughter Shirley (Dr. Bill) Mangum of Greeley, Colorado.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, stepmother, sons Neil Lee Kaser and Tommy Paul Kaser, brothers Thomas Corbin and Leon Corbin.
    She is also survived by 14 grandchildren: Leslie (Eddie) Sonnier, Stephen (Andrea) Kaser, Mary Beth Kvasnicka, Michael (Eileen) Kaser, Kenneth Kaser, Dana Self, Emily (Brent) Doolin, Jill (Aaron) Levenhagen, Jenny (Billy) Huthman, Shawn (Tonya) Kaser, Joey (Alissa) Kaser, James (Tina) Kaser, John Mark Creech, Timothy Creech and step-grandchildren Jeff Briggs, Lon Briggs and Peggy Beckendahl, 24 great grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren.
    Survivors also include a brother, Harold Corbin of Shreveport, LA and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
    Mrs. Kaser was a member of the Timber Lake Christian Church. Memorials may be made to Timber Lake Christian Church, 1624 Gratz Brown, Moberly, MO 65270, or Central Christian College “Grow Our Legacy”, 911 East Urbandale Drive, Moberly, MO 65270.
    Visitation for Carmelita Kaser will be held at the Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly, Missouri,  Friday, April 5, 2013 from 5-8 p.m.

    The funeral will take place Saturday April 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Greensburg Cemetery in Greensburg, MO.
