Betsy Fowler Gully

     Betsy Lou (Fowler) Gully, 47 of Albany passed away in her sleep on Sunday, February 10, 2013.
Betsy, the daughter of Byron and Laura Jean (Strickler) Fowler was born July 6, 1965 in Kirksville, Missouri. Her mother preceded her in death on December 27, 2003.
    She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jane (Fowler) Grizzle, grandmothers, Ruth Leona Queen, Clara R. Strickler and her Aunt Catherine and Uncle David Strickler.
    On
September 16, 1989, Betsy was united in marriage to Joseph L. Gully. To this union twin daughters Savannah and Amy were born.
    Betsy worked for Northwest Medical Center in Albany in Environmental Services.
She also owned K-9 Kuts, loving each animal as her own when they were dropped off in her care.
    She was a member of the Baring Community Church in Baring, Missouri, Sisters of The Soul Soroity, active in Tae Kwon Do and always there lending a helping hand to any person or stray animal in their time of need.
    Survivors: husband, Joseph L. Gully; twin daughters, Savannah and Amy Gully all of the home; father, Bryon Fowler, Rutledge, MO; brother, Charles (Lou-Ann) Fowler, Tulsa, OK; sisters, Carol Jean (Thomas) Dage, Gladstone, MO; Sharon Ann (Travis) Knorr, Jefferson City, MO; mother-in-law, Gloria (Mike) Kincaid, Richmond, MO; father-in-law, Lanny L. (Dot) Gully, Richmond, MO; sister-in-law, Laurie Gully, Richmond, MO; several nieces and nephews.
    To have known Betsy and be touched by the goodness of her heart and loving kindness, family, friends and the community of
Albany will miss her sweet, gentle and loving spirit.
    Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, February 16 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday evening at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM on Friday.
